					 Synchrodogs new book published by Louis Vuitton, editor Patrick Remy.

Synchrodogs, the duo formed by Roman Noven and Tania Shcheglova, can often
be found exploring the Ukrainian Carpathians
by motorbike. Their “Slightly Altered” series,
the fruit of several trips through these mountains,
offers a fresh perspective on the intimate
relationship between human beings and nature,
also contemplating its headlong course toward
a looming disaster. Through landscapes, dance
and performance, they condemn deforestation
and call attention to the plight of endangered
species. It is an original vision populate by both dreams and nature, a land art project
that ventures into nude photography, eve if some unbothered by clichés might perceive
their approach as a nose-thumbing rebuke to the Soviet era’s insistence that naked bodies
only had their place in the great paintings of an earlier age. &#38;nbsp;From 8th October book is available in LV stores and selected bookstores around the world.&#38;nbsp;

 The poetic art project 'TSVIT' is a collaboration between the brand and two talented Ukrainian artists, photographer duo Synchrodogs and stylist Julie Pelipas.&#38;nbsp; The TSVIT couture collection is a cultural experiment, the experience of restoring forgotten manufacture technologies that were considered archaisms, and their introduction into the modern agenda.

What was Synchrodogs' role in the visual identity for WXAXRXP?

When working on the campaign for Warp's 30-year anniversary, we created a set of photographs that could informally be called ‘tech vs. nature’. These became a kind of symbiosis of Synchrodogs and Warp identity in general.

This exhibition echoes the first snap cardigan exhibition held at la galerie du jour as part of Paris Photography Month 1986, two years after the gallery’s opening. As the stylist, philanthropist and collector agnès b. noted on that occasion, "A while ago, I designed a cardigan for myself. I wanted a sweatshirt that opened in front with lots of snaps that evoke a Renaissance garment, a child’s garment for grown-ups, or the other way round. Since then, it has sold and been seen on other people.

	Do you think it’s possible to recreate the entirety of a dream through photography?
It’s almost impossible to recreate the dream precisely but even just a hint of it, like an image that’s left in our memory after experiencing it, is an inspiration, a kind of draft, so to speak. By creating installations that are only meant to live for a single day and photographing them before they decay, we often reflect upon how much we — like everything in life — both alter our environment and are altered by it.

	The state of our planet and the environment is a very deer topic to you that is often presented in your works evoking feelings and thoughts. What are the additional means you find useful or important to deliver the message or to make even a small change with the lack of information and knowledge with the masses? 
	Apart from giving awareness to some really important environmental issues, we always wanted our art to be inspirational for people in a way that would stimulate them to spend more time in nature and lead a less urbanized kind of life, that would be educational on some very subtle level where all people love nature to the extent of not willing to do any harm to it.

Together they pursue questions of environmental mindfulness and education via art, investigating the complex relationship of human and nature and the new ways the Earth begins to look like as a result of their fragile codependence, highlighting juxtaposition of natural and artificial, real and surreal via multidisciplinary artistic approach.Their works have been exhibited in Dallas Contemporary Museum, Pinchuk Art Center, Palais de Tokyo, Benaki Museum, The Annenberg Space for Photography and ArtPrize Hub, they took part in Sothebys Charity Art Auction in 2021 and Visions of the Future exposition by Saatchi Art in 2022. They also participated in AFAA Art Residency together with artists like Mason Saltrelli, Anthony Miler, Liam Allen, and Mary Heilmann, and became one of main winners of LensCulture Award in 2022.

&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; Synchrodogs’ work explores the everlasting tension between man and nature, with images of raw, animalistic beauty, which also manage to come across as awkwardly sophisticated. Discovering how far people managed to intrude into the territories that were meant to be wild, the duo works together in an intimate synchronized choreography, sharing the same aesthetic and ideas acquired through a self-made meditation technique that takes place on the verge between  wakefulness and sleep. &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; 
Observing the new ways the Earth begins to look like as a result of human interventions into the environmental processes, their work balances between the real and imagined, drawing the viewer into an unconscious, wild and dream-like world, aiming to inspire people to live a decent life full of respect and responsibility for Planet Earth.

The Point of No Return


The project is about discovering hidden energy sources within oneself, and moving forward, widening one’s subconscious to the point of no turning back, just like progress and innovation can not be reversed back once discovered and out in the World. Inner Garden


Inner Garden is a mixed media project about human being able to find harmony in nature, via escapism and deep self examination. The project came out as a result of a long journey across ones subconscious in the times of the lockdown the World was experiencing for a year.

	Slightly Altered

Working on ‘Slightly Altered’ project artistic duo Synchrodogs went into a one-month trip across Carpathian Mountains to discover how far people managed to intrude into the territories that were meant to be wild.


People have always been shaping natural forces around them. But is there a limit of resources the Earth would allow us to use? "Slightly Altered" is a reflection on how much we are intertwined with nature - changing the environment, we change ourselves. The project is about interdependency of humans and nature and the new ways the Earth begins to look as a result of our interventions into the environmental processes.


Witnessing these and other intrusions into nature, Synchrodogs have started reflecting upon how much we, like all life, both alter our environment and are altered by it. 


Creating installations meant to live for a single day and photographing them before they decay, Synchrodogs’ images preserve vistas that are—sadly—likely to be irrevocably altered by the next generation.

SUPERNATURAL


Its a never-ending self-exploration of two artists in context of the unknown. It deals with intuition, subconscious, natural phenomena, some human essence, which is unable to be explained by science, aiming to depart from what is usual or mundane. The project strives to convey artist’s personal insightful sublime experience caused by the natural environment, erasing a line between the real and the imagined. 


Shooting Supernatural project Synchrodogs went on a 4000 mile road trip to rediscover its own capacities and energy limits, the way a human can walk into darkness, go straight into unexplored, relying on intuition, go where subconscious leads, and feel safe in the World of the unknown.


As main source of inspiration for acquiring ideas Synchrodogs used their own nighttime meditation technique they developed over the years. With 'Supernatural' project artistic duo recreated visions they managed to see while experimenting with meditation and lucid dreaming techniques, used their own constructed images as a vehicle for erasing the line between the real and the illusive, between the natural and the artificial, between the evident and the unknown, uncovering edges of their own subconscious, using intuition as their main guide.
